Puerto Rico's Art Museum
ActivArte serves as a visual arts teaching laboratory that promotes the active participation of its users though historic, social and aesthetic perspectives.
ActivArte new design, led by Jorge Rigau, FAIA Architects, re-conceptualized the space though a sculptor treatment of its floors and walls to highlight different content stations. Graphic design revealed and contrasted the relationship between art, science, nature, architecture and industrial design. Interactive elements and site specific artworks complemented the design strategies.
For this project my role was to create a big crossword with words related in the art field for the wall. Various fonts where used to stimulate texture.
